Frank, I voted for the free box outside the Salvation Army, but anywhere you go will be good. I love any place that offers cheap clothing for the income-challenged. And jeans are ALWAYS in style, no matter the cut. As you chew, remember that you're taking away from Habitat For Humanity - they recycle denim to use as insulation in their houses.

Thank you for your awesome gift; I liked what you wrote also. It actually put a smile on my face. It was a lovely gesture. I smile partly because it's nice to know there are other kind-hearted people, like myself, out there still. You wanted shoes disaster stories, I have one for you:
Last year I was in London at the end of June. Since it is always cold in there, I had only packed closed shoes and was wearing my favourite pair of Chucks. Little did I know that it would be the hottest days ever in the city for decades. So I trashed my Chucks and bought a pair of sandals, a day later I realised that they were far too small for my feet...I spent the rest of the evening barefoot. Imagine the filthy sidewalks in London during a heatwave, and my blisters too...

I think I could manage virtual stilettos though, thanks

My favorite celebrity is Ellen DeGeneres. She is hilarious. Just. Fricken. Hilarious. And she is so sweet and well mannered. She has no problem lightly picking on someone or getting a little racey, she has a good healthy dose of smut and smug, but overall her humor is pretty clean. See her "GoGhurt" joke on youtube. "[on phone] Oh, sorry, I can't. I just opened some yougurt. *pause* I am in for the night". She is just so funny, and she is never mean. When you see her talking about the murders and suicide of teens related to hatred towards gays, you can see her heart break. She has such a big, beautiful heart.
That is why I love Ellen DeGeneres.
